Susan has been a Travel Consultant in the Comox Valley since 1976, beginning when she first walked through the doors of Courtenay/Comox Travel, the only travel agency in the Valley at that time. She started training back then learning to read tariffs and airline's flight schedules in the various books they used then. No such thing as computers in those days, everyone had to call the airlines or tour companies for information and to make bookings. In those days one spent a lot of time on the phone for the clients. Times have changed a lot and Susan has since taken extensive training courses over the years in order to keep up to date with the new computer age and the complexities it has introduced us to.

She received her Certified Travel Consultant designation in 1987 after completing her qualifications exam. As a strong advocate for professionalism in the travel industry, Susan has supported the CITC (Canadian Institute of Travel Consultants) over the years and has even assisted with the Travel Agents course offered at the local college. By continuing to upgrade her qualifications and keeping up to date with the ever changing world, she strives to give her clients the best service possible.

Susan is passionate about travel and wants to offer her knowledge and services to anyone willing to experience the joys of travel for themselves. In this complex world we are in today there is a lot of information out there and you need someone to decipher through it all. Linda Skehor

Linda (you may know her as Lin) is the rookie of the office. She became convinced the travel industry was for her while planning her family’s round-the-world trip in 2001, and after 15 years as a stay-at-home mom she graduated from North Island College’s Travel Counselling Course in April 2005. She’s been working full-time since October of that year. She is working toward achieving the professional designation of CTC (Certified Travel Counsellor) and will accomplish that in 2008.

It is Linda’s firm belief that there will always be a place for a travel agent with all the information clients need literally at her fingertips. She offers specialized knowledge, represents her clients’ interests, and backs her clients up in the (rare) case that things go wrong. To this end she reads travel industry publications, keeps up to date on travel advisories, attends trade shows and takes as many supplier courses as are available to her to accumulate as much general and destination-specific information as possible.

Above all she wants her comprehension, care, and attention to detail to help her clients create lasting travel memories.

Donna Clark

Donna has been in the Travel Industry for the past 22 years and the last 14 years in the Comox Valley. Her passion for travel started in 1986 when she successfully completed the Travel and Tourism Course at Mount Royal College in Calgary Alberta. She loves visiting different countries, experiencing different cultures and has developed a great passion for cruising.

Always curious, Donna enjoys research and will spend the time to make every client’s trip memorable. Her goal is to provide exceptional customer service and to make sure that each client has booked the holiday best suited for them. She enjoys every destination – whether visited personally or through her investigations for her clients.
